Hon. Josann M. Reynolds

Josann Reynolds has served as a judge on the Dane County Circuit Court, Branch 2 in Wisconsin since her appointment in September 2014, with her current term set to expire in August 2027. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison. Prior to her judicial service, Reynolds was a partner at Sipsma, Hahn & Brophy, LLC, and earlier became the first female partner at Jenswold, Studt, Hanson, Clark & Kaufman. She has been re-elected to the bench in both 2015 and 2021, and is noted for ordering Governor Scott Walker to schedule special elections in 2018. Reynolds is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
