Hon. Ashley Wright

Judge Wright grew up in Augusta, GA. She graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a B.A. in English and from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law with a J.D. She served as a local prosecutor before being appointed District Attorney by Governor Sonny Perdue in 2008. In 2017, Governor Nathan Deal appointed her to the Superior Court bench. She has handled significant cases, including serving on the Georgia Supreme Court for a specific appeal. She was named District Attorney of the Year in 2014.
