Douglas Anderson is a Seventh Judicial District judge for Morrison County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position by Governor Tim Pawlenty on January 1, 2008, and was elected to a full term in 2010. He ran unopposed for re-election in 2016. Anderson received his B.A. in political science from the University of Minnesota at Duluth in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1975. He began his legal career in 1975 as an attorney with Rosenmeier and Simonett, and served as a partner at Rosenmeier, Anderson & Vogel from 1980 to 2007 before becoming a judge.
