</p><p><b>Timothy P. Connors</b> is a judge for the <a href="/22nd_Circuit_Court,_Michigan" title="22nd Circuit Court, Michigan">22nd Circuit Court</a> in <a href="/Washtenaw_County,_Michigan_(Judicial)" title="Washtenaw County, Michigan (Judicial)">Washtenaw County</a>, <a href="/Michigan" title="Michigan">Michigan</a>. He was appointed to this position by Governor Engler on <a href="/C1997#March" class="mw-redirect" title="C1997">March 12, 1997</a> to replace former Judge Karl V. Fink.<sup id="cite_ref-appointment_1-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-appointment-1">[1]</a></sup> He was re-elected in 1998, 2000, 2006 and 2012. His current six-year term ends on <a href="/C2019#January" class="mw-redirect" title="C2019">January 1, 2019</a>.<sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2">[2]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3">[3]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-4" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-4">[4]</a></sup>

<p>Connors received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in 1977 and his <a href="/J.D." class="mw-redirect" title="J.D.">J.D.</a> degree from the Wayne State University Law School in 1980.<sup id="cite_ref-bio_5-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-bio-5">[5]</a></sup>
</p>
<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Career">Career</span></h2>
<p>Connors began his career working for the law firm of <i>Conlin, Conlin, McKenney &amp; Philbrick</i>. He then joined <i>Logeman, Connors &amp; Bredell, P.C.</i>, where he became Vice-President. In 1991, he was appointed to the <a href="/Michigan_Fifteenth_Judicial_District_Court" title="Michigan Fifteenth Judicial District Court">15th District Court</a>. He served there until his appointment to the circuit court in 1997.<sup id="cite_ref-appointment_1-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-appointment-1">[1]</a></sup>
</p><p>He has taught as an adjunct professor at Wayne State University Law School since 1993 and has been a University of Michigan Law School faculty and lecturer since 2008. He has also served as faculty for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and as a guest lecturer for Cooley Law School and Eastern Michigan University.<sup id="cite_ref-bio_5-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-bio-5">[5]</a></sup>
