Mary B. Mahler is a Seventh Judicial District judge for Stearns County, Minnesota. She was appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty on May 13, 2010, and took office on June 28, 2010. She was elected to retain her seat in 2012 and her current term expires in January 2019. Prior to her judicial appointment, Mahler owned the Law Office of Mary B. Mahler in Las Vegas, Minnesota, beginning in 1995, and served as a shareholder at Quinlivan & Hughes, PA from 1998 until her appointment in 2010. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Nevada (1991) and a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law (1994). Mahler is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers Association, Seventh Judicial District Bar Association, Stearns/Benton Bar Association, and Central Minnesota Legal Services Volunteer Attorney Program. She has also served as a director of New Beginnings and as an attorney coach for the Apollo High School Mock Trial Team.
