Hon. Alane C. Laboda

Alane C. Laboda served as a judge on Florida's Twentieth Circuit Court, overseeing cases in Charlotte and Lee counties. Appointed by Governor Charlie Crist in July 2008, she held the position until her term ended in January 2017. Prior to her judgeship, Laboda worked as an attorney at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes, and Holt, P.A. from 1997 to 2008, and served as the State's Attorney for the Twentieth Circuit in Lee County from 1992 to 1997. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from George Washington University in 1989 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1992.
