Hon. Donald R. Elledge

Donald R. Elledge served as a circuit court judge for the Seventh Judicial District Circuit Court in Tennessee from September 2005 until his retirement on July 2, 2021. Appointed by former Governor Phil Bredesen, he was re-elected without opposition in 2006 and 2014. Prior to his judicial service, Elledge practiced law privately from 1977 until his appointment. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Tennessee Tech University in 1971 and a Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law (formerly the Y.M.C.A. Night Law School). He was licensed to practice law in Tennessee in 1977.
