Hon. John Simpson

Judge John T. Simpson has served as the Chief Judge of the Coweta Judicial Circuit since 1996, overseeing five counties in Georgia. Prior to his judicial career, he clerked for Judge Jackson in Troup County and spent a decade in the Georgia House of Representatives. A seasoned family law attorney since 1982, Simpson has focused exclusively on family law and has led initiatives in drug courts, parental accountability courts, and the expansion of mental health courts. His long-standing commitment to public service and legal excellence has earned him recognition within the legal community.
