Hon. Reginald Routson

Reginald J. Routson is a seasoned legal professional who has served as a judge on the Hancock County Court of Common Pleas in Findlay, Ohio, since 1998. Prior to his judicial tenure, he held positions as a judge on the Findlay Municipal Court, an assistant prosecuting attorney for Hancock County, and a managing attorney for Advocates for Basic Legal Equality. His career also includes service as a court monitor and patient advocate in the Federal District Court. Routson earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University (1975, 1976) and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law (1980). He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1981 and has received numerous awards for his judicial and community service, including the Judicial Award from the Ohio Department of Highway Safety and the Attorney General’s Office Distinguished Service Award.
