Hon. Keith Bowers

Keith Bowers, Jr. is a judge serving on the Carter County General Sessions Court and the Carter County Juvenile Court in Tennessee. He was elected to the bench in August 2014, with his term commencing on September 1, 2014 and expiring on August 31, 2022. Prior to his judicial appointment, Bowers worked as the county attorney for Carter County and the city attorney for the Town of Watauga. In 1999 he entered private practice at Hampton & Street, and in 2002 he founded his own firm, Keith Bowers, Jr. & Associates, which later became Bowers & Hardin in 2014. Bowers earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1998. His career reflects a strong commitment to public service and local legal practice within Tennessee.
