Jack Ewing is the judge for the Galveston County Court at Law No. 3 in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

Ewing ran for election to the Galveston County Court at Law.Primary: He was successful in the Republicanprimary on March 4, 2014, receiving 27.4 percent of the vote.He competed against Byron Fulk, Donnie Quintanilla and Kerri Foley.Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Ewing faced Quintanilla in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He won, earning 58.5% of the vote.General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014.
