Hon. Jeffrey L. Simmons

Jeffrey L. Simmons is a judge serving on the Vinton County Court of Common Pleas in McArthur, Ohio. He has held this position since at least 2010, having been re-elected unopposed in both the 2010 and 2016 elections. A graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree and of Ohio State University with a J.D., Simmons has practiced law for over six years and is licensed to practice in Ohio. His judicial responsibilities include presiding over the General/Domestic Relations Division. Simmons is affiliated with the Republican Party and has demonstrated a strong commitment to the local judiciary through his repeated electoral success.
