Shook</b> is an <a href="/Oklahoma" title="Oklahoma">Oklahoma</a> associate judge for <a href="/Wagoner_County,_Oklahoma_(Judicial)" title="Wagoner County, Oklahoma (Judicial)">Wagoner County</a>, which is located in <a href="/Oklahoma_District_15" title="Oklahoma District 15">District 15</a>. He was appointed by Governor <a href="/Brad_Henry" title="Brad Henry">Brad Henry</a> in February 2010, and was then elected to a full term in November 2010.<sup id="cite_ref-candidates_1-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-candidates-1">[1]</a></sup> He was re-elected in 2014 after running unopposed. His current term expired on January 13, 2019.<sup id="cite_ref-candidate_2-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-candidate-2">[2]</a></sup>

<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Career">Career</span></h2>
<p>Shook worked in private practice from 1983 to 2010. Prior to that, he served as an assistant district attorney in Wagoner County. He's also been a municipal judge in Wagoner and Coweta, and the city attorney for Porter.<sup id="cite_ref-5" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-5">[5]</a></sup>
