Hon. George Butner

George W. Butner is an Oklahoma district court judge serving in District 22, which covers Seminole County. He was first elected to the court in 1998 and has been re-elected unopposed in both 2010 and 2014, with his most recent term expiring on January 13, 2019. Prior to his judicial appointment, Mr. Butner practiced as a criminal defense attorney. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Oklahoma.
