Hon. Jean Stanley

Jean A. Stanley is a judge of the First Circuit Court in Tennessee, having served in this position since 1992. She was re-elected in 2006 and 2014, with her current term expiring in 2022. Prior to her judicial appointment, Stanley practiced privately as an attorney with the firm Sherrod, Stanley, Goldstein & Lincoln. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University in 1974 and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee in 1978.
