Michael H. Bloom is a judge on the Oneida County Circuit Court in Wisconsin, having been elected in 2012 with a term expiring in 2018. He previously served as District Attorney for Oneida County from 2007 to the present, and as an attorney at Eckert, Kost & Vocke LLP from 2002 to 2007. Earlier in his career, he worked as a public defender for the State of Wisconsin from 1993 to 2002. Bloom earned a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 1990 and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1993. His professional achievements include serving as an attorney coach for the Rhinelander High School Mock Trial Team since 1994, sitting on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Northwoods since 2007, and being a member of the Rhinelander Rotary Club since 2005. He defeated John F. O'Melia in the 2012 general election, winning 52.8% of the vote.
