Hon. Ana Maria Martinez

Ana María Martinez is Georgia's first Latina State Court Judge, serving in DeKalb County. She was sworn in on January 18, 2022. Prior to her judicial appointment, she worked as a staff attorney for Judge Dax E. López and was a litigator at Owen, Gleaton, Egan, Jones & Sweeney. She co-founded the Georgia Latino Law Foundation to support diversity in the legal profession. Judge Martinez operates the only fully bilingual English/Spanish DUI Court in Georgia.<br/><br/>Experience:<br/>- Staff Attorney for Judge Dax E.
