Timothy W. Wilson is a seasoned litigator with over 25 years of courtroom experience. He was appointed as a Superior Court Judge for District 7A in Nash County by Governor Roy Cooper on December 9, 2022. Before his appointment, he was a partner at Poyner Spruill LLP, focusing on eminent domain, tort and insurance litigation, and products liability. He has argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. Wilson was recognized as a State Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation in 2018 and included in the 2023 Best Lawyers in America list. He also served as a Teach for America corps member, teaching high school math.
