Hon. Henry R. Thompson

Judge Henry R. Thompson is a Superior Court Judge in the Cobb Judicial Circuit, appointed by Governor Brian Kemp in 2022. Prior to this role, he served as a judge on the Cobb County State Court, appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2013. Thompson has a rich background in criminal defense, having served as an Assistant District Attorney in both the Western and Cobb judicial circuits and practicing criminal defense across metro Atlanta. He is also a faculty member for the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia.
