Paul Doyle is a judge of the New Haven District Superior Court in Connecticut, appointed in 2023 and confirmed by the General Assembly. Prior to his judicial appointment, Doyle served as a state representative for Connecticut’s 28th district from 1994 to 2006, and held local government positions in Wethersfield, including treasurer and town council member. He also worked as a liaison for the Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce, an executive assistant for the Democratic State Central Committee, and as an attorney with Heneghan, Kennedy and Doyle Limited Liability Company. Doyle earned a B.A. in history from Colby College, attended University College in Galway, Ireland, studied at the University of Notre Dame Law School in London, and received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He was a Toll Fellow in 1997 and has been recognized for his civic engagement, including providing information that helped arrest a bank robber in 2016. Doyle is married to Diana and has been active in Democratic politics, having run for Attorney General in 2018.
