Hon. Steven R. Ebberts

Steven R. Ebberts is a Kansas district court judge who has served the Third Judicial District since his appointment by Governor Sam Brownback on July 20, 2011. Prior to that, he served as a judge on the Topeka Municipal Court. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Washburn University of Topeka. Judge Ebberts has been retained by voters in both the 2012 and 2016 retention elections, receiving 69.2% and 71.28% of the vote respectively. His judicial service reflects a commitment to fairness, honesty, and consistency in the Kansas court system.
