Hon. Charles Eaton

Judge Charles M. Eaton Jr. is currently serving as a judge on the Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, having been appointed by Governor Brian Kemp on August 12, 2021, and subsequently elected in May 2022. Prior to his judicial career, he held significant administrative roles within the public service sector. He served as a Commissioner on the Georgia Public Service Commission from 2007 to 2021, including multiple terms as Chairman during 2008, 2013-2016, and 2019-2021. His contributions to public service were recognized with several accolades, such as being named one of the '100 Most Influential Atlantans' and '100 Most Influential Georgians'. In addition to his administrative roles, Judge Eaton has also contributed to legal practice by serving as a Judge on the Superior Court of Fulton County since 2021. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Alabama and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. Judge Eaton is also actively involved in various community organizations, including serving as Past President of the Buckhead Forest Civic Association, Representative to the Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit 'B', and a Board member for Troup Haven House.
