Judge Dominique Collins has served as the presiding judge of Criminal District Court No. 4 in Dallas County since her first election in 2012. She began her second term in 2017 and is currently serving her third term. Prior to her judicial career, Collins worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County from 2004. She has extensive experience in handling felony and criminal cases, including work with specialty divisions like organized crime and public integrity. Collins was honored with the 'Above and Beyond' Prosecutor Award in 2008. She also served on the State Bar of Texas Committee on Crime Victims from 2009 to 2011. Collins is known for running the Dallas County Veteran's Court, which provides justice-involved veterans with opportunities for treatment and case dismissal.
