Jeffry J. Larson is a judge serving the Fifth Judicial District of Kansas, Division 1. He was appointed to the bench in 2008 and has since been retained by voters in both the 2012 and 2016 retention elections, receiving 81.8% and 81.74% of the vote respectively. Prior to his judicial appointment, Larson served as an assistant Crawford County attorney from 1987 to 1988, worked in private practice for 18 years, and served as a Madison municipal court judge in 2006. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emporia State University and his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law.
