About
Eric W. Godderz is a judge serving the Fourth Judicial District of the Kansas District Courts, having joined the bench in March 2007. Prior to his judicial appointment, he practiced privately and served as both a public defender and a prosecutor. He also held the position of Osage County Attorney from 1996 to 2000 and again from 2005 to 2007. Godderz earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. He has been retained by voters in both the 2012 and 2016 Kansas judicial retention elections, receiving 67.7% and 64.04% of the vote respectively.
