Hon. Trish Rose

Trish Rose has served as a judge on the 27th District Court, Division 1 in Kansas since her election in 2010, with a re-election in 2014. Prior to her judicial tenure, she was a partner at Forker, Suter & Rose from 1980 to 2010, and served as a clerk at the Kansas Supreme Court in 1978-1979. She began her career as a teacher in the U.S.D. 500 district from 1974 to 1975. Rose earned a B.S. in Education from Emporia Kansas State University in 1974 and a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1978. She has received the Kansas Bar Association Outstanding Service Award and the Court Appointed Special Advocate Outstanding Service Award, and is a member of several professional associations including the Kansas District Judges Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, National Association of Women Judges, and Reno County Bar Association.
