Hon. Richard R. Stalbrink

Richard R. Stalbrink Jr. serves as a judge on the LaPorte County Superior Court of Indiana. He was first elected to the court in 2008, assuming office in January 2009, and was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020. Stalbrink Jr. earned his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University. His judicial career has been marked by successive electoral victories, including an unopposed primary in 2014 and an unopposed general election that same year, following a competitive primary and general election in 2008 where he secured 46% of the primary vote and 66.3% of the general vote.
