Hon. Thomas A. Cannon

Thomas A. Cannon Jr. serves as a judge on the Delaware County Circuit Court in Indiana. He was first elected to the court in 2008, taking office in January 2009, and was re-elected unopposed in the 2014 general election, with his term set to expire on December 31, 2020. Prior to his judicial appointment, Cannon was a partner at the law firm Cannon & Burns. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. Cannon was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1974 and has since built a career in the Indiana legal system.
