The UCCJEA is intended to avoid jurisdictional conflict and determine custody of all children born during the marriage in one action. See Blanchette v. Blanchette, 476 S.W.3d 273 (Mo.banc 2015). The Oregon court has jurisdiction to determine the oldest child's custody. Therefore, under Section 452.765, RSMo, this Court shall not exercise its jurisdiction in the later filed Missouri action. In addition, the Court finds, according to argument and the pleadings, Missouri is an inconvenient forum under the circumstances and that the Oregon court is a more appropriate forum.
