Both parties are seated at counsel table. Both parties orally stipulated for Commissioner Crass to hear this case for all purposes. Mother has filed her response and is requesting a DNA test. The Court is reluctant to order a genetic testing as the child is 11 years of age. The father states the child has been resideing with each parent on a alternating week schedule for years. Mother disagrees and withdraws her request for a DNA request. Attorney Hawkins will have both parties sign an advisment of parental rights form, upon the return of the next Court date. The parties are referred to a Tier 1 mediation session with Family Court Services. The child(ren) shall not participate in the appointment in-person at FCS. The parent that has custody of the child(ren) on the day of the FCS appointment will need to be physically present at FCS with the children. Childcare is not available at the courthouse. The custodial parent will need to provide a neutral adult to supervise the children during the FCS appointment. The parties are ordered to not speak to the children about any court proceedings.
