The order directed Mr. Winder and Mr. Weinstock to each pay the sum of $250 to the Supreme Court Law Library within 7 days. The order stated that if Mr. Winder and/or Mr. Weinstock filed the opening brief and appendix within the same time period, the conditional sanction would be automatically vacated. On October 7, 2024, Mr. Winder filed an "Emergency Motion Requesting an Extension of Time to File Opening Brief and Appendix, and Response to Order Conditionally Imposing Sanctions." On October 9, 2024, this court entered an order striking that document because it was deficient.
