- Emergency hearing commenced In Jonesboro today. APPS: Petitioner Courtney Geisman with attorney Bryce Cook; respondent mother Whitney Hilderbran, pro se. Respondent putative father David Blake pro se. RULING: This hearing is recessed and will resume on 12/14/23 at 9:30am at the Poinsett County Courthouse in Harrisburg. Mid-hearing, the Court became aware that the Petitioner has appeared in another case (56PR-18-68) where I issued a ruling restricting her access to her stepchildren, The Court theefore recesses to allow this case to be heard by a judge who has not had another case involving Ms. Geisman. Between now and the next hearing date, the twins are not to be removed from Craighead or Poinsett Counties. The Court has notified the Department of Human Services of this circumstance and all parties are ordered to cooperate fully with any DHS investigation. Bryce Cook will submit a recess order for entry. MBR
