- ORDER: re: Riyaz Shaikh I have reviewed seven lawsuits filed by Mr. Shaikh in the last year (Civil Actions Nos. 2181cv04753, -04755, -04756, -04757, -04758, 2281cv00024 and -00795) as well as eleven complaints that Mr. Shaikh recently proposed to file. Based on that review and the number of proposed lawsuits and the nature of Mr. Shaikh¿s filings, I issue this order restricting Mr. Shaik's filing of matters in this court. Mr. Shaikh may not file any new civil action or complaint or claim in Middlesex Superior Court (including Woburn and Lowell) without the prior written approval of the Regional Administrative Justice for Civil Business or his/her designee. Before filing any new civil action or complaint or claim or the like, Mr. Shaikh must file a petition seeking leave of court for such a filing. The petition must include a copy of this ORDER together with a copy of the document(s) that Mr. Shaikh seeks to file. The documents shall be accepted by the clerk, date-stamped, and forwarded to the Regional Administrative Justice (or designee) who will approve or disapprove the petition in writing. A copy of this order is to be kept in the Clerk's Office in Lowell and Woburn and will be distributed to each of the civil session clerks. This order will apply to the eleven complaints submitted by Mr. Shaikh which have not yet been docketed. Mr. Shaikh may file a petition for leave with respect to those complaints, either individually or collectively. So ordered. Date: March 8, 2022
