In Loving Memory: Ryan Randall McNeice August 22, 1974 - April 20, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Ryan, a devoted, cherished, caring, and loyal husband, father, brother, nephew, friend and colleague. He touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories. Born on August 22, 1974, in Spokane, Ryan brought joy and happiness into the lives of his parents, Randy and Janet. He held a special place in their hearts, and they treasured every moment spent together. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and his memory will be forever cherished. Ryan further pursued his academic journey at WSU where he joined Sigma Nu, met Sarah Bowers, studied abroad in London, and graduated with a degree in Finance in 1997. Ryan married Sarah in September of 1997. Their journey together was one filled with love, support, and shared dreams. Their partnership was built on a foundation of mutual respect and unwavering commitment. In 2004, Ryan and Sarah welcomed their first child Olivia Kathryn, while he was completing his Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate programs from Gonzaga University. Then, in 2007, they welcomed their second child Elliot Ryan. As a father, Ryan was a pillar of strength and guidance to his children. He nurtured them with unconditional love, teaching them the importance of integrity, compassion, and perseverance illustrated through his daily inspiration texts, snaps, and memes. His children were the center of his world, he was proud of their accomplishments and supported their dreams. Ryan’s business career began when he joined Intermountain Leasing. Ryan built and managed Intermountain Leasing alongside his parents and brother. Ryan then founded a solo law practice, Law Office of Ryan McNeice, after graduating from law school in 2005. Later, Ryan was joined by his friend and colleague, Becki Wheeler, to form the McNeice Wheeler PLLC, a well respected and successful endeavor that provided legal services and advice to a wide range of valued clients and customers. In addition, Ryan founded 57 Media alongside colleagues. This outlet created and distributed media interviews and local news pieces. Ryan lived life to the fullest and had a passion to be connected as seen through his involvement in so many committees, organization, charities and local events. Just to name a few: President-Gonzaga University School of Law Board of Advisor, Board of Regents-Gonzaga University, Member - WA and ID Bar Association, named among the best Lawyers in both Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene - 2019, Founder and Host Spokane Talks Media and 57 Media. In addition, he supported a variety of community organizations including Priest Lake Lion Club, Lake City Playhouse CDA, Jack Blair All Star Game, St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation, University High School Athletics and Theater, Pink Shamrock Foundation and many more. Ryan's friendship was a true treasure. He was a loyal confidant, always ready to lend an empathetic ear and offer guidance without judgment. His infectious spirit and genuine interest in others made him a beloved friend to many. The memories created during his time with friends will forever be cherished. Ryan had a sense of humor that was infectious and made everyone laugh. He had a passion for traveling with family and friends, fishing on the Missouri River, following NASCAR and Formula 1 Racing, watching CBS Sunday Morning, and jogging in 98 degrees wearing a stocking hat. In addition, he enjoyed three hour boat tours of Priest Lake, long car rides in Big Betty, and motorcycle rides with friends along the Palouse. Whether it was engaging in outdoor adventures or simply enjoying quiet moments with loved ones, he made every experience memorable. In the wake of this tremendous loss, we find solace in the knowledge that Ryan's legacy will live on in our hearts forever. He taught us the value of love, kindness, and compassion, and his spirit will continue to guide us through the journey of life. May we remember his infectious sense of humor, warm hugs, and genuine interest in getting to know people. Ryan is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Sarah, his beloved children, Olivia (19) and Elliot (16), his parents Randy and Janet McNeice, Uncle Steve (Debbie) Zwight, brother Brad McNeice (Jackie), nieces Samantha Blankenburg (Justin), and Alexandra Mulanax, and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched profoundly. While we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary individual, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and honor the immense love he shared.
