Daniel J. Knecht

Overview For Dan, the Horseshoe League is a family tradition: on any league night youll find as many as five Knechts pitching. He prefers an undisputed ringer but will settle for a solid leaner if the game is close. Dan practices in the areas of Complex Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Construction and Environmental Litigation, Employment Litigation, Class Litigation, and appellate work. His broad practice stems from being routinely asked to assist with complex and high-stakes cases, regardless of which category is applied to the fact pattern. Stated another way: Tough cases need good litigators, and Dans made a career out of working tough cases. In addition to formally litigating and trying cases, Dan advises clients on contract issues and assists with pre-suit dispute resolution. Dan is a 2010 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law where he earned his J. D. He also earned a B. S. in Business from Indiana University s Kelley School of Business in 2005. As a Cincinnati native, Dan is glad to be practicing in his hometown and currently lives in North Avondale with his wife Cicely and two children. Dan was also part of the team representing Bill Yung, president of Northern Kentucky based Columbia Sussex Corporation, when Kenton District Judge Patricia Summe awarded the Yungs a $100M judgment against Grant Thornton.
