A. in Political Science and Psychology in 2003. She went on to Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2006. At Michigan State, Ms. Bennett was a member of the Family Law Society and an editor of the Journal of Medicine and Law. She was very active with the Moot Court and Advocacy Board. In her final semester at Michigan State, Kelli led an appellate team to win the national championship at the Wagner Labor and Employment Law Competition held at New York Law School. Ms. Bennett worked as the Senior Litigation Associate for a plaintiffs personal injury firm for six years before joining Hewson & Van Hellemont, P. C. in 2012. She has extensive experience litigating No-Fault matters and also has focused on premises liability, contract law, criminal defense, bankruptcy and Social Security cases. Kelli is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is licensed to practice in the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
