About
Kelsey J. Stock joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2020. She grew up on a hog farm near Garden City, South Dakota. Kelsey graduated magna cum laude and In Honoribus from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in Economics. While an undergraduate, Kelsey interned for Governor Dennis Daugaard in Pierre, South Dakota, and Senator John Thune in Aberdeen and Washington, D.C. Prior to enrolling in law school, she worked as a legal assistant for a law firm in Aberdeen. In May 2020, she graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Kelsey was elected to the Order of the Barristers, a distinction awarded to law students who have excelled in advocacy and service at their law school. She worked throughout law school as a law clerk at a law firm in West Fargo, North Dakota, and a legal extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fargo, North Dakota. Kelsey is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and South Dakota. In her free time, she enjoys playing with their dogs, Jackson and Ronnie, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Kelsey looks forward to getting more involved in the Ortonville community.
