About
Ms. Calderón is Of Counsel and represents corporations, hospitals and individuals. She provides litigation counsel for complex medical malpractice defense for physicians and hospitals, corporate litigation, personal injury and other torts, criminal defense, domestic relations, and employment law. Ms. Calderón also provides corporate counsel to both small and large businesses, assisting in formation, the drafting of and enforcement of contracts, and compliance with state and federal laws. Ms. Calderón is a graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law where she received the 2012 ABA/BNA Award in the study of Employment and Labor Law. Ms. Calderón joined the firm in September 2012 as an associate attorney. Prior to becoming Of Counsel, Ms. Calderón assisted in all transactional and litigation matters. Ms. Calderón has extensive litigation experience, including experience in pre-trial discovery, pre-trial motions practice, trial, and the appellate process. She has trial experience as both Plaintiff and Defense counsel in actions concerning Breach of Contract, Negligence, Medical Negligence, Unfair Trade Practices, and Fraud. In addition, Ms. Calderón has assisted on a number of cases, including a construction dispute involving a large state-wide production facility and a national construction contractor, a wrongful discharge dispute between a state employee and state agency, and multiple medical malpractice actions. Ms. Calderón also has extensive transactional experience assisting corporate clients in drafting and enforcement of corporate formation documents, employee conduct manuals, contracts, promissory notes, lease agreements, and real estate contracts.
