Biography Waymon B. McLeskey, II is the principal in McLeskey Law Offices, a solo law firm in Columbus , Ohio. He is the third generation of a family that has been practicing law in Columbus, Ohio since 1919. He began practicing law in 1981 and is currently licensed to practice in all state courts and federal courts of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. . He also represents creditors in all chapters of bankruptcy and has substantial experience in bankruptcy litigation including adversary proceedings and contested motions. He also practices in the area of civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. He has litigated on behalf of creditors as plaintiff and has experience in insurance defense, lenders liability and actions based on consumer protection statutes. His litigation practice includes trial work and appeals. He also practices in the areas of estate planning and probate. He received his B. A. degree in history from Yale University, his A. M. degree in history from Brown University and his J. D. degree from Ohio Northern University. He also attended law school in Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, England. He is a member of the Columbus (Bankruptcy and Small Firm Solo Committees), Ohio State (Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Committee) Kentucky and West Virginia Bar Associations. He is a member of many professional organizes relating to his areas of practice.
