The complainant and other prosecution witnesses were off duty police officers. R v TCatherine represented a 15-year-old who along with his 14-year-old brother was charged with attempt murder. The defendants committed the offence against a 46-year-old man in themiddle of the day in a public park. The victim was so badly injured he was unable to give evidence. The prosecution eyewitness was the victims 10 year old son. R v SCatherine represented a young man accused of a gang related murder. Catherine successfully made an application to exclude alleged confession evidence. R v SCatherine represented a man charged with violent disorder, affray and assault on police and other emergency workers. Catherine successfully opposed the Crowns application to adduce bad character evidence. R v HCatherine represented a defendant charged with attempt murder who was diagnosed schizophrenic and initially unfit to stand trial. There was extensive CCTV of the interaction between the parties invarious pubs before the incident. R v ACatherine acted for a defendant in an allegation of rape and other sexual offences involving two complainants he met on a dating application. Catherine successfully made an application to dismiss. R v BCatherine represented a defendant with complex psychological disorders accused of sexually assaulting his 5-year-old niece. R v TCatherine acted for a masseur charged with serious sexual offences against two of his customers. R v SCatherine represented a defendant accused of sexually assaulting his 10-year-old daughter. R v NCatherine represented a defendant charged with multiple sex offences against his granddaughter over a 7-year period. R v AR v ECatherine represented two appellants who sought to appeal against Sexual Harm Prevention Orders and Indefinite Notification Requirements (Sex Offenders Register).
