Mark Turner

Mark Turner was born and raised in Winter Haven, graduating at the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Turner was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and has been a practicing attorney for over 32 years. Hes been a partner in the law firm of Straughn & Turner, P. A since June 1994, focusing on Real Estate, Wills & Trusts, Probate and Trust Administration, Commercial Transactions, and Corporate and Business Entities. Mr. Turner has been involved in the Winter Haven community, and is the past President and Board Member of Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, the previous Chairman and Board member of Polk State College Foundation, Inc., a prior Board Member of the Polk State College District Board of Trustees, and a former Chair and Board Member of the Winter Haven Economic Development Council. Today he is involved as a current Board member of Givewell Community Foundation, and a present Board Member of Humane Society of Polk County. When not at Straughn & Turner, P. A or spending time in the community, he loves spending time with his wife, Deanne Turner and her son Jonah Myers. They enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, biking, and skiing.
