About
Amber graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2011, cum laude, and was admitted as a member of the State Bar of Georgia that same year. She was a recipient of the Deans Service Award for her dedication and service while at Mercer. Prior to attending law school, Amber graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in philosophy. For the first eight years of her career, Amber practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Whitfield, Catoosa, and Walker Counties. During that time, Amber successfully conducted numerous jury trials and even obtained a unanimous ruling from the Georgia Supreme Court overturning a criminal statute found to be in violation of the constitution. Since joining McCamy, Phillips, Tuggle & Fordham, LLP in 2020, Ambers practice now focuses on family law, including uncontested divorces, contested divorces, child custody, child visitation, child support, and legitimization. Her additional practice areas include criminal law, general civil litigation, and juvenile law. Amber has developed a reputation for treating her clients with compassion and respect while also providing zealous advocacy in their times of need.
