Obtained a multimillion-dollar settlement on behalf of the majority owner in a highly contentious business divorce. Successfully defended a provider of telecommunications, engineering, electrical construction and project management services and a supplier of related equipment in a breach of contract dispute. Obtained a take-nothing judgment against the plaintiffs and obtained a judgment in excess of a half a million dollars in favor of the defendants on their counterclaims. Obtained a temporary restraining order and temporary injunction against a former employee/software developer and his new employer prohibiting the use of certain software and communications with clients existing and potential customers. On behalf of an out-of-state plaintiff, domesticated an order permitting repossession of equipment valued at more than $750,000 wrongfully detained in Texas and successfully coordinated the equipment retrieval. Represented a transportation broker in securing a favorable settlement in a breach of contract dispute. Secured a favorable settlement on behalf of an inmate-telecommunications provider following a five-week jury trial in a case involving clients alleged wrongful termination of a patent-license agreement related to 15 telecommunications equipment and software patents. Successfully garnished significant funds and other assets in furtherance of collection of judgments totaling more than $5 million. Routinely obtains judgments in favor of suppliers of construction products and equipment and conducts post-judgment efforts, including garnishment actions and post-judgment discovery, to collect on the judgments.
