Cassandra D. Andres

Cassandra counsels individuals and business clients in all areas of succession and estate planning. This includes counseling clients on appropriate estate plans for themselves and their families, as well as planning for the future of their closely held business interests. She is particularly knowledgeable on the administrative tasks involved in both estates and trusts and works closely with fiduciaries to ensure that they comply with their obligations under the law. Cassandra also represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in contentious matters, including actions alleging breach of fiduciary duties, heirship determinations, will contests, challenges of legal capacity, and contested guardianships. Cassandra serves as legal counsel for a variety of small and large business clients, from formation to dissolution. She ensures that business owners have the documents they need to start-up and continues to advise them on matters related to contracting, competition, real property, employment, and collections. Cassandra graduated from Purdue University in 2008 and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2012. Before joining Foos & Lentz, LLP, Cassandra served as a Staff Attorney to the Honorable Gregory F. Singer at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. In addition to her traditional duties as a staff attorney, Cassandra was integral to the creation and administration of the Womens Therapeutic Court. She is an active member of the Dayton Bar Association, serving the Board as Member-at-Large from 2017-2019. She also served as chair of the Young Lawyers Division and lead the Leadership Development Committee, which focused on the development of leadership in young and new lawyers.
