James Patrick Barrett

Mr. Barrett has been practicing law for nearly 20 years in the areas of insurance defense, trucking accident litigation, oil field injury litigation, products litigation, premises liability, bad faith, construction defect litigation, personal injury, and workers compensation. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico, and was raised in Albuquerque. Mr. Barrett received his law degree from the New England School of Law in Boston (New England Law - Boston). He was an editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement and was on the Deans List throughout his law school career. Mr. Barrett also earned an Honors Judicial Internship where he clerked for the Honorable David Lowey of the Massachusetts Superior Court. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico in 1997. In 1999, he earned his Masters in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Jamess clients are his highest priority and he is available whenever their needs may arise. In his free time, Mr. Barrett enjoys traveling with his family, listening to music, and learning to play guitar.
