Stacy Alford

Stacy Alford Senior Associate Stacy Alford grew up in Tyler, Texas. Ms. Alford obtained dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Geology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. In 1992, she became a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas. For over 17 years, Ms. Alford worked as an engineer in Texas and Germany. She worked for the United States Military Community Activity, Engineering Plans and Services Division in Ansbach, Germany at the time the Berlin Wall came down. As a military wife, she began working with families in her husbands unit and helping families deal with the anxiety associated with both short and long deployments and war. In 2004, Ms. Alford graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly known as Texas Wesleyan University School of Law). As a student, Ms. Alford worked in the Family Law Clinic. During this time she developed a passion for helping others. This passion carried over into her outside practice. For over 17 years, Ms. Alford was a solo practitioner with her firm, Law Office of Stacy Alford, practicing all aspects of Family Law. Additionally, Stacy has been an active participant in defending Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS) custody cases. For 17 years she has handled CPS court appointment cases, foster parent adoptions, representation of foster children, and CPS defense.
