C., Matthew practiced in both state and federal court, in the areas of civil litigation, subrogation, insurance defense, including trucking liability, automobile accidents, construction accidents, products liability, medical malpractice defense, long term care facility and nursing home defense, premises liability, and the defense of local governmental and municipal entities, including the defense of § 1983 claims, constitutional rights claims, equal protection claims, due process claims, false arrest, search and seizure, retaliation claims, and malicious prosecution. C., Matthew aggressively defended numerous construction, trucking and other companies in catastrophic and complex litigation throughout Illinois and Indiana, including a defendant in the highly publicized Indiana State Fair Litigation. He became a partner at Mulherin, Rehfeldt & Varchetto, P. C. in 2012. In November of 2014, he joined Momkus McCluskey, LLC in Lisle, Illinois, where he aggressively defended clients in construction, trucking, premises liability, and automobile accident matters.
