Joel E. Antwi

Biography Overview Joel Antwi is an associate in the firms Litigation Group. His cases often involve complex disputes over professional liability, intellectual property, and real estate. His clients include high-profile law firms, educational institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and a range of corporate entities. Joel is an experienced advocate at the trial and appellate levels. He briefs and argues high-stakes issues before state and federal courts, including the D. C. Court of Appeals. He is also well-versed in complex discovery and regularly takes and defends depositions. Joel received his J. D. and LL. M. from Boston University School of Law. During his training, Joel served as a summer law clerk for the U. S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, working on Congressional investigations into the IRS, FCC, and Department of Veterans Affairs. Before pursuing his legal career, Joel interned for U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. He then taught high school U. S.
