His father was a Project Manager for an international general contractor and the family moved around the country and Canada as new projects began. North Texas has always been home base, however. Mr. Davis worked on the familys farm and ranch in Vernon, Texas during summers and he worked for a leading engineering and surveying firm in Lubbock, Texas throughout college.
