Jeffrey G. Bennett, AttorneySince admission to the State of Michigan Bar in 1990, Jeffrey has focused his practice in the areas of Bankruptcy, Family Law, Criminal and Civil litigation. In addition to the Michigan Bar, he is admitted to the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts. Currently, Jeffrey is the Section Chair for the Bankruptcy Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association. He is a member of the Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Association. In January 2013, Jeffrey published the Article "The Preclusive Effect of State Court Judgments in Bankruptcy" in the Res Ipsa Loquitur.Jeffrey has used his former experience as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the City of Ann Arbor to zealously defendant clients in criminal matters. He has handled cases from disorderly conduct to murder. The compassion he has learned from this work has also lead him to properly handle client's family law matters.
